Let’s face it: getting started with a new exercise program is not easy. It can feel overwhelming, scary, and daunting, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Having a Movement Coach in your corner can make things a whole lot easier. Someone to go to for advice about anything exercise-related is a game-changer or even to ask.

Everybody can embark on a physical journey towards better health and fitness, and that includes you. The trick is getting out of your way and figuring out what movement modality (exercise choice) checks all your boxes. 

The truth is, movement happens all day long; as we go through our day, we naturally move and ‘exercise’ our bodies. We squat to get off the couch, we hip hinge to pick things up, we reach overhead to the top of the shelf, we walk our pets and play in the parks. If every day was full of movement we would all be better humans, wouldn’t that be great! 

Unfortunately, our modern lives are not always ideal, we have jobs that require us to be stationary, we have commitments and distractions that create inactivity, or we become ‘weekend warriors’ and end up hurting ourselves or we simply can’t get motivated to get moving.

 

As a Movement Coach (link to What is an MC), my goal is to help you figure out how to get you moving, not only forward but in a way that works best for you.  and help you create a life full of physical wellness. 

If you want to get fitter, stronger, or more flexible I can help to get you there. If you have movement (exercise) goals I can help to get you organized and reach those goals or maybe you have movement questions or ‘how to’ questions or your body is not cooperating with your lifestyle, as your movement coach I can help you to strategize and help you to create a life full of movement.

What is a Discovery Call?

It’s our first chance to get to know one another. I will ask you a series of questions regarding your health and fitness background, if you have any injuries or movement limitations and if you have a specific reason you got in touch with me. It’s your chance to ask those questions you’ve had on your mind, and together we will decide what your next steps will be.
